What is this Netgear App you are talking about? All I see is the app for the connected home devices?
This is the app I was referring to (Android version). Here's the iOS version. You can also disable the WiFi sleep function by using the web-based interface under the menu option Settings > Wireless > Global Wireless Settings > WiFi Standby > Disabled.
