Nighthawk M5 MR5200 Network disconnected

Good day,

My Nighthawk M5 MR5200 worked fine the last 6 month. I performed a factory reset this morning, since then it is telling that the broadband network has been disconnected and is stuck in a search loop.

The sim is fine and recognized.

The APN is correct.

External antennas do not help.

I had a similar problem and found that by changing the authentication type from None to CHAP or PAP even if the Username and password are blank solved the problem of disconnection and network searching.
