Nighthawk MR1100 from Telstra Firmware "Invalid Update File. Error Code 16"

Hi, like many other users, I too have lost Data Information since updating the firmware to NTG9X50C_12.06.02.00.

I have tried to roll back the firmware and upload the fix suggested with Firmware file 

MR1100-1TLAUS_23113199_NTG9x50C_10.25.01.01_00_TELSTRA_03.22.secc but get a an "Invalid Update File. Error Code 16" every time.

I know this isnt a Telstra issue as this all worked fine until this latest Firmware upgrade.

Can you please help me here as this is driving me nuts. What else can be done here to fix this? Is there another file i can try or another way to upload the firmware?

May I ask the origin of this update file ?

The origin of the file is from this community. In another string of messages. It was to correct the data usage issue.

The router is the MR1100-1TLAUS model?

Not sure if relevant, was the downloaded file processed somehow and the .spk extension removed? The KB does show the file name as "MR1100-1TLAUS_23113199_NTG9x50C_10.25.01.01_00_TELSTRA_03.22.secc.spk".

HI, No the .spk extension is there.

If you know of another link to the file we need, can you please let us know. Yes this is for the Terlstra Australia version of this product.

Just ried the file again after a new download confirming the file name below and still same error message.

Please call Telstra and have them check if the device reached the billing server. If you got a confirmation from them, please PM me your device IMEI.

Hi, just checking here with Telstra. Is this a billing or Tech Support area question? And what exactly am I asking them?
If it is reaching them, what is the fix?
