Nighthawk MR1100 not shown on WiFi networks

I have an unlocked AT&T MR1100. It has a Consumer Cellular SIM and connects to a T-Mobile network. Firmware is NTG9X50C_12.05.05.12. I have it connected to a R6300 router with Ethernet.
After some time say a hour or two the MR1100 will disappear from the available WIFI networks.
I have to disconnect the Ethernet cable and reconnect then the devices will again see the MR1100 on the WIFI.

If there is not WiFi client connecting to the device, WiFi will be turned of.
You can press Power button once to turn on WiFi again. Or you can log in to WebUI to set the WiFi never goes to standby to address the issue permanently.
