Is this with a wired connection to the D7000?
What does "modem page" mean to you?
When connecting the device for the first time, the startup"genie" kicks in. Is this a new installation of this modem/router?
This may help:

You have posted your message in the section of this community given over to Mobile Routers, Hotspots & Modems. (This is easily done, given Netgear's complicated community structure.)
Many questions apply to different types of device, so you might get responses here, but DSL modems are very different from mobile modems, so you might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your hardware, in the appropriate section for your device. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.

D7000[v1] or D7000v2? Look for "Model" on the product label.

What, exactly, does it say?
Isn't there an option to configure it manually (which should get you
past the set-up wizard)?
