Recursive routing detected error in OpenVPN

Hi,

 

When i try to connect to my VPN on the netgear using OpenVPN the initiation sequece finishes and connected however i get a flood of recursive routing detected. Can anyone help me fix this issue?

We have found the best solution for the recursive routing flood is to modify the client config as follows:

 

comment out "nobind" so the line looks like this instead:
#nobind

then add --local IP line to config. If you're device does not have a static ip, use ipconfig from CMD window to retrieve it (Windows). So you add this line

local <your device's local IP>

 

We also tried the remedy of using an older version of OpenVPN client but that did not solve our issue.
