Speed Difference between LB2120 and Nighthawk MR1100 M1
I am testing both devices and am wondering why the LB2120 is half as fast as the M1 even though both devices 'max speed' is well above what my area is capable of?
I noticed that the max speed during testing for the Lb2120 is around 10-15mbps, but my Nighthawk is around 20-30mbps. Why is that? I guess I would have expected that since I would never reach 100mpbs anyway, why both devices don't perform similarly?

Higher LTE category terminal device can utilize radio spectrum more efficiently. If higher LTE category device is put to lower LTE category network, if performs better than same level lower LTE category terminal device. Higher LTE category devices have usually better CPU, more advanced modem features, better antennas(design&placement) etc.
