nighthawk router internet connection mr1100

Any one have a solution to connecting to the internet via ethernet port on nighthawk mr1100. The router will not allow me to connect to internet until i either unplug ethernet cable or cycle thru the display on the router itself with the on and off button.

Try to disable Ethernet Standby (Setup->Mobile Router Setup->ETHERNET STANDBY)
