Armor Holiday Savings
My subscription to Netgear Armor is almost up. Couple of weeks ago, my orbi app showed a banner at top that "teased" 35% off for renewed. Clicked on that banner. Says something to the effect that contract already on account -- so can't get promised 35% off (posted on another discussion here - but no response from a moderator). Today that banner changed to Armor Holiday Savings! $39.99/year (Save $30). However clicking on banner still does not work. Says "Already contract is purchased for the account". So can't get that deal. What is the deal with Netgear???

I have the same issue. I get the discount ad but when I click to for more info, it goes back to the regular price. I'm still on trial and can't even upgrade.
I also am seeing the same thing through the Nighthawk app for my R8000P. Whenever I try to navigate the banner with the discount offer, it always resets to full price on the next page. Same results for all screens in the app pushing the holiday offer banner. I would have dropped the cash for the discounted rate as an impulse purchase. Having serious second thoughts about paying full price... It is far more cost effective for me to return the router to Best Buy for a full refund, and then just pay $150 for a Bitdefender BOX 2 that INCLUDES the first year subscription for free. Not only is it more fully featured than the cut down Armor offering, but instead of being forced into another $69 hidden cost to get the real features for a year, I can use the money left over after exchanging the Nighthawk for the Bitdefender BOX 2 to buy a game or something.
If anyone from the Netgear community engagement team reads these, could you guys be so kind as to explain this to me?
Same here. When I try to subscribe, it will only accept regular price of $69. So far not impressed with Netgear support!

I also was shown the "Armor Holiday Savings! $39.99/year (Save $30)." banner at top of the Nighthawk app Armor Security screen tonight (1/3/21) after I activated my 30-day Armor trial, but when I click the banner, the next screen shows the annual payment as $69.99. I have not tapped the Confirm button on that screen because I'm concerned it will then commit me to the $69.99 price rather than the advertised $39.99 Holiday price. How do I proceed to get the advertised Holiday price?
