what firmware version are you on?
It should support armor.

To get a hold of support for subscriptions services like Armor/Circle, click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process.
Click on: My Support---->Contact Support---->Get help with my subscription service

I understand that you are having difficulties subscribing to a new armor subscription.
@plemans is correct, your RBR50 supports NETGEAR Armor.
What is happening when you try to subscribe to a new subscription?

So in the app Orbi app I click onto security which is saying expired - renew armor now. When I click on that it takes me to the next page where it says
The plan is not available on the bottom of the screen it reads annual payment with a line across it. You can’t click on anything here
