Armor was offered to me when I upgraded the firmware on my R7000 router. I activated the 30-day trial.
I have spoken with Netgear and Bitdefender. I have not gotten satisfactory answers from either.
Here are my questions:
1. Which Bitdefender product is included in Armor? Bitdefender offers multiple products with varying numbers of devices on which it can be installed. What do we get in Armor? Do we have options?
2. Who determines the annual pricing? Bitdefender is now listing their Total Security 2020 for up to 5 devices at $89.99 and offering it at 50% off, i.e. $44.99. Amazon offers the same product at $34.99. Two other suppliers offer it at $32.99 and $33.14. Will we be paying top dollar if we go onto an annual service contract?
I called Bitdefender about the pricing more than once. One person told me to call Netgear about pricing. The other told me they would relay my question to someone else and I would get an email response. I got the email response today which told me how to install bitdefender on all of my devices. Nothing about pricing.
Does anyone know the answers to either of my questions?
Thanks,
Gar

Re: Armor product and pricing
Hi Dexter,
Thanks for your help. I had seen some of these with the marketing descriptions. Some of the ones I hadn't found had enough information for me to proceed on the basis that we get Bitdefender Total Security with unlimited devices for $69.99/year. I hope I got it right. 🙂
Thanks,
Gar

Re: Armor product and pricing
In the past couple days, I have received email messages from NetGear showing the following subjects:
- You Can't Hide from Cybercrime. ⚠ Don't Fall Victim. Try Armor FREE for 90-days; and
- Don't Miss Out On Your FREE 90-Day Trial of NETGEAR Armor!
It soon becomes apparent, however, that the only trial offer lasts only 30 days. This seems misleading. Am I missing something?

Re: Armor product and pricing
I missed the "Choose File" button and thought I could not attach files to my reply. The screenshots are now attached. Given the discrepancy between the subject line and the message contents, I did not proceed with enrolling in the Armor trial.
