Can't uninstall netgear Bitdefender on Mac as I've forgotten password - please please help!

Hi. I'm trying to back up my dying MacBook and the f-ing Bitdefender is blocking it. Stupidly I don't remember my password but for the love of god I can't find any answers to how I reset the password. I signed up for Netgear Bitdefender as part of an Orbi / Armor purchase - I've logged into my Netgear account and I know the password for that, but this NBitdefender one is apparently different. Can someone please help me as I am sooooo frustrated and angry that I actually installed this nasty piece of software. Many thanks, Ben
