Disabled Armor but Netgear Armor Portal is still running ...
I disabled Armor with the iOS app; but when the Netgear Armor Portal web page is still showing it as active, alerts are still coming in, and so forth. How can this me if I disabled Armor?

Same here 😞
Cannot update apps anymore, websites are blocked.
Turned it off, but it saying it's still active.

I also lost access to the App store on my MacBook once I activated Bitdefender for Mac. Uninstalling it did nothing. Sign-out and back on to the Cloud did the trick for me. I don't know if this situation applies to you, but thought I should pass it on regardless. Good luck!

Perhaps @DexterJB will come to the rescue @Goudbezie and shed some light as to why Netgea Armor Portal is still running and reporting errors once Armor is disabled in the app. I hunch is that the only way we can completely dis-engage Armor is to do a factory reset on the Orbi. But before I go through all the trouble of doing that, I would like a moderator to confirm that this is the case.

Did a factory reset on router and satellites, deleted the app, installed everything via a web browser (did not use the phone app) used this step by step video: https://youtu.be/Y-IgLQJFj0U and it all works! Installed the Orbi app and not touching the security option ever again.
