Error activating a new Netgear Armor subscription with activation code

I have an Orbi mesh system with one sattelite. My Armor subscription expired and the message told me I needed to contact custome care to renew. I did that and got an activation code via email.

 

When I try to activate the new subscription with the activation code, I get the following error message: There was an error activating your subscription. Please try again later.

 

I've tried about 25 times and it's not activating. My Orbi app won't allow me to activate it through the app either. The app says my subscription is expired and to contact customer care.

 

Does anyone know the fix for this?

A couple things you could try. 

1. Try factory resetting and reinstalling the obri. Then just activate it as a new subsciption

2. Try turning off then back on remote management. Sometimes this helps

3. Try contacting bitdefender support for armor. I've seen the wrong code before and it needed to be redone.
