I disabled Netgear Armor but some websites are still blocked on my R8000P

So after replacing my ASUS AC1900 that worked flawlessly for 9 years with this Netgear Nighthawk R8000P router, I have had all kinds of trouble. First I did not want Netgear Armor but it was activated anyway for the 30 day trail then I found out that in order to turn it off I had to install the stupid app on my phone which I hate installing apps on my phone. There is ZERO reason why all settings couldn't be on the Web UI. 

So the first problem is certain websites that I have never had a problem with are now either blocked or it takes forever for them to finally connect. I turned off Netgear armor but they are still blocked or take minutes to finally connect.

Second, my Synology disk station NAS has a hard time connecting to the internet.

Third, it seems that almost anytime I make a change in the settings I have to hit the reset button before I can log back in to the router.

When I do a speed test the speed test is at my rated speed which is 500mbps up and down so at least that is good.

Any help would be appreciated.
