Keep getting phishing and spam notifications (threats blocked by Netgear Armor)
Dear forum,
Yesterday, inadvertently I opened an email which suppossedly contained a virus/malaware on my iPhone XS Max connected to my Orbi WiFi Home Network. Since then I keep receiving notifications from Netgear Armor that 9 threats have been blocked... All of them being either for Phishing or Spam and all of them being generated by my iPhone device.
The sites that generate such alerts are:
Phishing:
http://s1.node103.iifab.com:3333/api/smartlink
http://clicks.rtad.io/tracking/click
Spam:
All those sites suppossedly were found on my iPhone.
I have already deleted the history and website data from my iPhone as well as blocked Pop-ups, however, the spam and phishing threat alarms keep being reported by Netgear Armor (at 12:50 PM, 01:39 AM, 2:20 AM, 07:59 AM and the last one received at 08:11 AM)...
I have tried to find any related information on the www without any luck so far and I am worried that my iPhone somehow got infected with a virus, malaware, etc.; so before resorting to wiping out all the data on my iPhone (to factory settings) before restoring it to the latest backup I have; I wanted to double check first with you and see what else can be done?
Thanks for taking the time to read such a long post and I hope to hear back from you soon.
Any comments are more than welcome!
Best regards.
