Netgear enabling App Armor Remotely?

I am running Nighthawk MR70 in mesh with two satellite MR70s. Periodically, without my consent, the "NETGEAR Armor" is enabled. I do not appear to be able to enable/disable this from my web portal. I am only informed that it is turned on via web portal. I have to check the app and disable from there.

Is there a way to get "full" control of my router? Feels more like I have this router out on load from Netgear and they do whatever they want with it remotely.

Will be avoiding this brand in the future.

    Try a factory reset and setup from scratch using a web browser and PC and don't use the NH app.

      How would you setup a nighthawk mesh system without using the app? please advise
