Pump Spy / Sump Pump / Armor

After installing RBE973 prior to software  update I decided to leave the Trial Armor on. I did not have  notifications checked so I did not get any. My Sump Pump has the Pump Spy back up system. After a couple of days I got a notification from Pump Spy that my system was no longer communicating via WiFi. I checked the Armor log and found numerous I mean hundreds of entries denying Access to Pump Spy. The whole system(Pump Spy) eventually shut down. I turned off Armor but I could not get it operating again. Without revealing the armor issue I called Pump Spy and they are sending someone out tomorrow. Is it possible that Army shorted out my Pump Spy?

    Doubt it.

but it might have locked it up for some reason.

Does it have a way to be factory reset?

also, you can disable armor's blocking of specific sites if they do replace it. I can see why a blocking program would block something called "pump spy"

It is a bit frustrating that there does not appear to be any sort of User Guide on the web for Bitdefender Armor.  (such as explanations on how to accomplish common tasks)**

It might be worth logging into the armor web site at armor.netgear.com and looking for ways to either:

        • Add the Pump Spy web URL to the list of "not blocked" URLs
        • Exempting the Pump Spy device from Armor management

**My enthusiam for Armor cooled rapidly upon seeing "Free Trial", which implies, "and then we charge you every year"

So, I have never enabled Armor and have no idea what sort of control users have over how it operates.

There is a community forum specifically for Armor, so posting this problem in that forum might result in responses from people who have experience with it.
