R7000 with EX8000 Disconnects after July 4th Auto-Update!!
EX8000 auto updated to Firmware Version 1.0.1.192 on July 4 and caused every wireless device to have issues. The only solution I could find was to remove power from the EX8000. Most devices were somewhat in range of the R7000 but a couple have not connected due to the range extender being down. Around 20 devices in total.
I tried a factory reset today and now the EX8000 just shows a solid white light on 2.4GHz. I cannot connect to it remotely to reconfigure it. I have tried holding the reset button down for 10, 15, 20, 30, and 60+ seconds.
Is there a fix for this or is it a faulty device and need replacing? Is there a better range extender that doesn't cause this sort of issue?
Thanks

You can try fixing it with a tftp recovery.
