Re: R7000NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason.
I'm having the same problem with my R7000P router. If I try it from the browser I get the message "The NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason". If I try it from the app I get the message "Process is taking too long (more than 60 secs), Try again".

Hi @Beetle02,
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. What is the Android version of your device?
3. Have you tried using another device (another Android, iOS) with the app installed?

Re: R7000NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason.
1. What is the firmware version of the router?
V1.3.1.44_10.1.23
2. What is the Android version of your device?
I am using an iPhone 10 with iOS 12.1.3
3. Have you tried using another device (another Android, iOS) with the app installed?
I tried it on my iPad and got the same results, 60 second time out.
One other thing I noticed this morning, when I log into my netgear account my router is listed as one of my devices. But if I go to armor.netgear.com and log into my netgear account it says no routers associated with this account.
Thanks

Re: R7000NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason.
Dexter - I am having the same issues as described above. Spent 3 hours on phone with Netgear Tech Services today and after the 9th time of changing passwords I realized they did not have a clue. I love my router and am a huge fan of Bitdefender - would love to have the Armor program in place for the additional protection.
Any help you can extend would be appreciated.

Re: R7000NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason.
Hi @DexterJB,
I am also having the same problem as mentioned in OP. It just started after updating the Firmware to the latest version. I am able to sign in to my Armor account but once it begins activating it hangs for a minute or two and fails.

Re: R7000NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason.
Hi @ChemicalGilroy,
Welcome to the community!
If you haven't yet, we recommend doing a factory reset on the router and see if the issue will persist. This link may help out for the reset process. Once you've completed that, try logging out and logging back to your Armor app. Let us know how it goes.
