RAX36S - Armor vulnerability scan causes Directv Gemini Air dongle to lose internet connection.

I have a RAX36S (AX3000) wi-fi router.  I have Directv Stream which uses a Directv Gemini Air dongle to connect to my router.   Each time Netgear Armor does a vulnerability scan it causes my Directv Gemini Air dongle to lose internet connectivity.   Tuning the Gemini Air dongle off and back on causes it to reconnect but it is really irritating when it happens in the middle of a movie, ballgame, etc. 

Is there any way other than turning off Netgear Armor to stop the scan from disconnecting the dongle?

Internet: Spectrum (Charter) 1GB 

Wi-fi router: Netgear RAX36S (AX3000)

TV service: Directv Stream using Gemini Air dongle
