When does my paid subscription actually start?

I just purchased the one year license for Armor, but I noticed I still have 71 days left on my trial license.  I assume if I apply the paid license, it'll overwrite the trial, meaning I lose out on over two months of Armor. Is this accurate?  If so, can I wait to apply the paid license until closer to that 71 day mark, or did I screw myself by paying for it now, and I might as well apply the license today? In other words, when does the clock start on the paid license, when I purchase it or when I apply it?

Hi,

As it stands, the subscription will start on the day you activate the license and will overwrite your trial license.

Hmm...I logged into Armor and it’s showing my paid license with 362 days, even though I didn’t apply it yet, and the trial license (with 71 days remaining). It seems like the trial license stopped as soon as I purchased the actual one. Not a huge deal, but kind of a bummer that I lose out on over two months of protection.
