orbi RBR750 to Nighthawk AX5400

Hello,

I currently have a orbi RBR750 with 2 satellites. Not sure, but I may be having issues with the Mess system. I only have a 1900 sq ft home, so I am thinking of switching to a Nighthawk AX5400 router.

I currently have an Armor subscription and the new Nighthawk will come with a year of Armor. Will I be able to tack the 1 year of Armor on my current subscription?

Maybe we can help you figure out the Orbi system first.

For that size of home, you really only need the router base unit and one RBS and even at that, set the power levels to 50% with one RBS. 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

You'll need to contact NG support about that.

Thanks for the help. What I'm really trying to do is connect my Generac Generator. It only uses 2.4GB and seems to have trouble with Mesh wifi. I'll get back with Generac support.
