orbi cbr 40 replaced rbr 50 armour

I recently replaced my rbr 50 with the cbr40 cable modem, I tried to start armour on my cbr40 but it keeps telling me the device is offline when I go to the Armour site I see the old rbr50 but can't figure out how to delete it.  - any help

Hi @Bill141,

When you do the Armor activation on CBR40 what error message, are you getting? Is the CBR40 showing up on armor.netgear.com web portal? If you still have your RBR50 can you connect it back up and reset it to factory settings. Resetting RBR50 to factory settings will release and disassociate it from the x-Cloud ID. Once the reset on RBR50 is done power RBR50 off and then plug CBR40 back in and reset it to factory then try activating it again? 

Can you also confirm how you purchased the Armor subscription, as there is multiple ways to purchase it? If it were purchased through amror.netgear.com site then i would follow the instructions in this kb to transfer the subscription https://kb.netgear.com/000060888/How-do-I-switch-my-NETGEAR-Armor-subscription-from-one-NETGEAR-prod....

Also, please note that currently there is no way to remove old product from armor.netgear.com dashboard.
