Something amiss
So I acquired the ready NAS yesterday. Installed drives plugged in the power and network, flipped switch ran Raidar and joined it to insight cloud via serial number.
Bottom line 24 hours later and insight shows still waiting for first connect. I have several criticism about Netgear and their effectiveness in the business sector. However I just want my stuff to work. I am used to having to put effort into setting up network equipment, I work in a Cisco shop. But the effort here is a little much.
I have 13 other devices on the same subnet that are connected to the cloud. What am I missing?

Re: Something amiss
For a larger ReadyNAS business deployment I'm not convinced Insight is the right approach. Most obvious reason is that the NAS need "free" open Internet access to establish the connection to Insight or ReadyCloud - and in a business environment, especially from a server subnet, I doubt policies would allow this 8-)
