Access Control and Parental Control
Hello, I'm wondering if at, if I can block new devices from connecting to my network while also using parental controls. This is mostly because I don't want said devices that are controlled with parental controls to spoof their MAC address to circumvent what I setup (an example is a Xbox Series X can change their shown MAC right in network settings). I know I can get access control back if I disable Parental Control then factory reset router, but I want the features of both of them.
If there is a way to with Parental Controls to block new devices automatically I do not know of it, but that would work for me. But I just find it odd as to why in the first place why Parental Control disables Access Control unless it replaces all of its features.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you would like to use MAC filtering to stop new devices from connecting to your network. At this time, Access Control is the only way to use the MAC filtering feature.
Best,
Kevin

Hello Victor
Do you need new devices that cannot access the Internet, just the local network, or both?
Thanks
