Orbi RBR850 firmware 4.6.3.9 - No SPC tile on Orbi app to set up
Loaded v4 yesterday on the RBR850 that was in AP mode.
Changed to Router mode today and not seeing any Parental Controls tile on the Orbi app as per instructions here:
https://kb.netgear.com/000062109/How-do-I-set-up-and-install-NETGEAR-Smart-Parental-Controls
Armor is listed, just no Parental Controls. Both on Android Pad and iphone 12 Max. Checked for app updates and saw nothing for Orbi app.
I have not done a reset and setup from scratch yet. After FW was sent to system, system was powered OFF for 30 seconds then back ON.
I believe 7 series users are seeing similar experiences as well.

Re: Orbi RBR850 firmware 4.6.3.9 - No SPC tile on Orbi app to set up
Hi @FURRYe38 @ajneuman @LadySapphy,
Based from SPC releases on other models, the FW is first made available and only after a week or two is SPC released.
@Christian_R @Blanca_O, can confirm if this is the same for this case.
Hope this helps.

Re: Orbi RBR850 firmware 4.6.3.9 - No SPC tile on Orbi app to set up
Hello Community,
Just to clarify, we’ve disabled Smart Parental Controls for the initial firmware rollout. However, we plan to enable SPC next week when we start the next phase of rollout.
Regards,
Christian

Re: Orbi RBR850 firmware 4.6.3.9 - No SPC tile on Orbi app to set up
I have app version 2.11.0.11661 and Orbi RBR850 firmware v3.2.18.1. I do not see the Smart Parent Control tile. Is this such a new feature? I have had the Orbi for almost a year now.
What can I do to get parent controls?

I have app version 2.11.0.11 and firmware version V4.6.3.7. I do have the RBR750 rather than the 850 series though. I do not work for Netgear, I'm just a user like you unfortunately I cannot speak to when/if/how you get the parental controls to show up.

SPC is not supported on your version of FW. SPC comes in on v4.

Re: Orbi RBR850 firmware 4.6.3.9 - No SPC tile on Orbi app to set up
I would make contact with NG support and ask about this. I presume something on there side needs to be triggered on your account so it shows up on the Orbi app.
