SPC Logs communication to an Apple IP address as "Uncategorized"
I have found that when trying to manage usage using SPC, the iPhone device is communicating to an Apple IP address and Smart Parent Controls is logging this use as "Uncategorized". There is no way for me to exclude this traffic or classify it as "Unlimited" since that appears to only be available when a site is categorized as an App & Website. This is going against the Allowed Usage and using up the allocated time, even before the child is home from school (and she hasn't used the phone prior to school as it is in our bedroom).

I'm having the same issue. My kids run out of time because of communication with apple and I can't seem to set it to ignore the uncategorized category.

Re: SPC Logs communication to an Apple IP address as "Uncategorized"
Hello Thador,
I understand that SPC is not able to communicate effectively to your device because of the Apple IP address. This can be due to the "Private IP address" being enabled.
Please turn off your private IP address on your iOS device.
To turn off the Private IP address please follow the directions listed below:
Open "Settings"
"Wi-Fi"
Select the "i" icon next to your connected network
Toggle off "Private Wi-Fi Address"
Best,
Kevin
