100060 Big Sur Dropping Connection
Seeing the ReadyNAS 424 drop Mac connection when moving large folders across. Stopping at various points - for 180GB has stopped at 3GB/12GB/32GB/60GB - no obvious pattern.
This is on Big Sur.
Have tried different network adapters.
100060 error code is displayed.
Once the connection has dropped the available shared folders no longer appear and the Mac can't connect.
Have rebooted the Mac and have rebooted the NAS.
Saw a similar issue going back 2 years ago.

Re: 100060 Big Sur Dropping Connection
Is this over wifi or ethernet?
Are you uploading to the NAS or downloading from the NAS?
Are you running Norton Antivirus on the Mac? I'm asking because I am seeing a similar report here: https://community.wd.com/t/error-code-100060-when-copying-files-to-mycloudex2ultra-nas/264955/2

Thanks for the hint.
Ethernet.
Uploading to the NAS.
No Norton Anti-virus.

Re: 100060 Big Sur Dropping Connection
I think it would be useful to also know what firmware you are running, and also get confirmation on whether you are uploading using ReadyCloud, or uploading locally with finder.
FWIW, I'm not a Mac user, so I don't think I can help much.

Re: 100060 Big Sur Dropping Connection
Latest firmware - 6.10.5
Also tried setting the nsmb.conf with no signing. No difference.
I have a couple of machines running different OSes to figure out if there are differences.
Did a dump of the logs. Which log file might reveal whether the ReadyNAS has noticed that it has dropped the connection?

Re: 100060 Big Sur Dropping Connection
Uploading locally via Finder. Have SMB sharing set up.
Also have Time Machine enabled. Just watching the large backups to see if there are any connection drops when backing up.
