2100: 4TB and larger Disks possible?

Hi!

Is it possible to use 4TB or even larger Disks in a ReadyNAS 2100v1?
The official HCL only extends up to 3TB, but then probably Netgear has stopped testing newer and bigger HDDs for older units...

Thanks in advance for your answers! 🙂

In the 2100v1 the maximum volume capacity would be 16TB. 4TB disks should work.

Re: 2100: 4TB and larger Disks possible?

So do I not have to expect difficulties with the one or other type of 4TB-disk, as due to the differing calculation method of disk makers vs. "the rest of IT" one should always be well below the 16TB-limit, right?
I'll take a look at HGST-Ultrastar and WD-Re Drives then... 🙂

I believe it is the volume capacity after redundancy.
