Hi,
I have two ReadyNAS devices (both on 6.10.3) and am unable to locate on the Admin pages the amount of RAM installed in either device. Could someone please give me a pointer as to where to look?
Thx.

The RAM for your NAS is indicated on the Datasheet, that is the first way to check on the information. Under the Administration page, it won't show it. The best way is to download the logs and get the mem_info.log and you will be able to see information on total memory.

Re: Amount of RAM installed in NAS ?
Enable ssh, log in and run the command 'free'. You can also see how the system is using the ram in more detail and in real time using the command 'top'. 🙂

Re: Amount of RAM installed in NAS ?
A stock RN100 series NAS has 512 MB of RAM. A stock Ultra 4 has 1 GB.
The RN100 RAM is soldered in, so it cannot be upgraded. You could upgrade the Ultra 4 to 2 GB (and I do recommend that for people running OS 6 on their older NAS).
