Cannot find and delete hidden snapshots

Hi there... have read what feels like a thousand discussion posts and have tried everything to delete hidden snapshots but still no joy... have 300GB still taken with mystery snapshots... can anyone assist?  Fairly novice with regards to SSH etc... so be gentle.

Have you tried running a balance followed by a scrub? 

Do you know you have hidden snapshots, or are you inferring this from space shown in on the volume and share pages?

Do you recall about how old your volume is?
