Deleting files or folders from PC when connected to ReadyNAS
Hi everyone!
I am new in the NAS
Wonder if i will delete files or folders from my PC,will it cause to delete those files or folders from NAS,or not?

That depends on whether you are using a sync utility of some kind (and how it is configured). Personally I back up my PC to the NAS - that is not sync, so deleting files on the PC won't affect the backups on the NAS.
Though of course if you are accessing the NAS network shares from the PC, you can delete the files on the NAS.
Do you actually have an ReadyNAS-4200? It seems likely you'd have a different model (for instance an RN420 series???)

How can I get the model number of my ReadyNas?
And please help me find the way to configure the way that ReadyNas syncing my folders...
By now,I’m afraid todo something with the configuration,before I know what to do!
