Help. I accidentlaly disabled the network interface eth0 and now i cannot get the icons back to renable it? what do i do? i only temporarily wanted to disable to troubleshoot something. it literally is missing now in the menu. running 6.6.0

From other posts by you I see it is a 516
Have you tried plugging your ethernet cable into the other NIC (eth1) or connecting directly with PC to eth1
Failing that you need to perform a Boot Menu OS Re-install (NOT FACTORY DEFAULT) following which your password will revert back to the default of "password"
it will also enable DHCP so an IP address will be allocated to your 516

Thanks! does the OS reinstall affect apps? it mentions it does not delete data (I understand it is a seperate partiion) but does not address the apps. My apps work perfectly.
