Does Readynas offer immutable storage options
I have a ReadyNAS 2304 running the latest firmware v6.10.3. Wondering if there is a way to set a share to immutable (ready only) in an automated way? I see that Veeam v11 offers WORM write once read many to Linux based storage.. not sure if this would qualify.. Shot in the dark. Thanks

Re: Does Readynas offer immutable storage options
There's no way to automate changing the share to read-only (or back).
However, snapshots are always read-only, and you can schedule when they are taken. For example, you could use custom snapshots with a retention of 1 snapshot, and schedule the snapshot to be taken once a day. That would give you access to a read-only version of the share at that particular time. If the share isn't updated after that, the snapshot would take no space.
