Filesystem still has errors (ReadyNAS 3200)

Hello, I have ReadyNAS 3200 with data volume failures.

After a disk failed, the server restarted and after running automatic checks, it was unable to recover the volume data system.

I put below part of logs messages. Any ideas to recover it? Thanks.

I think you will need data recovery.  Netgear has a recovery service here: https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service

You could also connect the disks to a Windows PC and try R-Studio for Windows.  https://www.r-studio.com/

How can I get int touch with technical support? Through the link (https://kb.netgear.com/69/ReadyNAS-Data-Recovery-Diagnostics-Scope-of-Service) I don't get any email to contact or other contact form.

my.netgear.com is the place to start for all paid support requests.  You don't want Gearhead, you want to go into the registration page and ask for support for your registered ReadyNAS.

Re: Filesystem still has errors (ReadyNAS 3200)

We have been tryng to purchase support through my.netgear.com

The system indicates the device is already registered. If we try to access with the user who registered the product in 2009  (jbustamante@ebd.csic.es) we get "user not recognized". The serial numbre of the device is : 25T19AYT0006A

It is necessary to buy 1 year support before getting a diagnostic?

Is this a used NAS?  Or was it registered by someone in your organization (who perhaps has left)?

Re: Filesystem still has errors (ReadyNAS 3200)

Yes, this is NAS server that has problems and is owned by the public administration.

This NAS was registered in 2009 by another user, and its access data isn't validated in the login form.

Netgear's warranty is not transferrable (though it's expired anyway), and their policy is that they don't provide support for used equipment.

If the orginal user who registered the NAS was part of your organization, then support can change that registration to be linked to your email.  If that user wasn't part of your organization, they won't do that - and they won't provide paid support.

You might want to PM @Marc_V (using the envelope icon in the top right of the forum), and give him more details (exactly what your organization is, and whatever other history he needs).
