Folders are not responding

Hey Guys,

 

My "RN42400" NAS Can't access any files and folders via local ip (Web Browser). Actually nothing happend after i clicked on a folder. And This occured after i update to the latest virsion of firmware "6.10.2". Any idea how to resolve this issue, there are much importants files that already in the NAS, Which mean that i can't wipe out the NAS and start as a fresh. Any sujjestion or solution that i can resolve this issue without formatiing the NAS. Waiting for your feedback. Thanks.

Welcome to the Community!

 

Are you still able to login to Admin page when using the Local IP? do you still see the the files and folders on Windows Explorer?

 

If you don't have RAIDar installed, kindly install it and check the status of the NAS.

Please check if the IP is still the same as before and see if there are any issues with the disks, If in any case you are not seeing the shares on the Admin page then let me know.

 

Don't do any steps on reformatting the drives or doing a Factory reset.

Let's start with a download (to your computer) and re-installing the firmware update again -> https://kb.netgear.com/26212/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Updating-Firmware (To locally update ReadyNAS OS 6 firmware via the Admin Page).

 

If this does not cure, drop the browser cache, or try another browser.

Are you saying that

  • You have access to all the files via Windows Explorer
  • But you don't see the files in the web browser

If so, can you clarify whether you are 

  1. not seeing the shares on the share list page of the admin web ui
  2. not seeing files/subfolders when you browse the share in the admin web ui
  3. not seeing the share or files/subfolders with WebDAV
