Git server on Rn102 readynas 6.9.5
Hi, I am looking get git server on readynas 6.9.5 (RN102).
1> Can it be done? Any limitations i should be aware off?
2> Does anyone know the steps required to build and launch/install on readynas?
SO far i used this only as backup location but looks like the apps are not as extensive as synology is !
Appreciate any help with this.

Although I haven't done it, I believe you can install it from ssh with
# apt-get install git
You need to use root as the username (with the NAS admin password).
One aspect is that the OS partition on the NAS is only 4 GB, so you do want to be careful not to fill it. You can copy folders to the data volume, and replace them with soft links on the OS partition.
