How many EDA500 can a RN314 handle?
I have an RN314 with 4 x 4TB WD40EFRX, and one EDA500 attached to the READ eSATA port with another 5 x 4TB WD40EFRX drives.
I know the front eSATA port on the RN314 is shared eSATA / USB 2.0 - but is there anything to prevent plugging another EDA500 in there? Has anyone tried this?

Re: How many EDA500 can a RN314 handle?
You can do that but the performance would be better adding another ReadyNAS to your network e.g. a RN424.

Re: How many EDA500 can a RN314 handle?
Its for home office, so it's more about cost effective storage than performance... with the EDA500 on Amazon for $125, and 4TB WD40EFRX available for the same price, it's an easy cheap option... but I hear you about performance. the RN314 / EDA500 interface / performance does seem to leave a lot to be desired.
