Been using readynas for several years but only just turned on the file search function. Dumb question but how do I use it. Looked through the various user interfaces but cant find any which shows a file search function. System - settings - services file search is turned on (ie green), but cant seem to find a file search function anywhere else so still using file search in windows.
Never had to use this function so just playing really but interested to know.
On the ReadyNAS admin page, you can go to Shares then Browse. You should be able to see there a Magnifying Glass to open the search box. You can visit this link as well for reference.
