Is there any way to administer readynas through cli and ansible?
Hi we have 2 RR4360S firmware 10.6.3 and we want to administrate them throw cli and ansible for automation so we wonder if there is any possibility to do this?
I saw that it is possible to install Docker and administer cli through it. The question is whether anyone has automated their devices through ansible and if there is a possibility for it?
Thanks

Re: Is there any way to administer readynas through cli and ansible?
You can of course just enable ssh for the NAS, and then use the linux CLI. You wouldn't need docker for that part.
No idea about ansible. A big caveat is that the ReadyNAS software assumes it is in full control of the shares, etc. Changes made through the CLI aren't always sticky, and if you don't know what the ReadyNAS application is expecting, you can really mess things up.
