Mounting shares of a ReadyNAS Duo V2 on an IBM AS400 (iSeries, IBM i etc.)
Hello All,
I am trying to mount the shares from our ReadyNAS Duo V2 on our IBM AS400 (small business mini computer) and I am having trouble doing so. Has anyone else tried to do this with success?

Is the AS400 running windows 10?
If so, check to see that the SMB1 client is enabled in the windows features (as that is the only version of SMB that the duo supports).

Definately not a Windows system. 🙂 It's a Linux varietal. I have no access to an AS/400, but it should be about the same as any Linux system. Enable NFS for the ReadyNAS share, create a directory on the AS/400 as a mountpoint, then MOUNT the external share over the directory.
A quick Google says:
ADDMFS TYPE(*NFS) MFS('remotesysname:/filesys') MNTOVRDIR('/ifsdir where: remotesysname is the name of the remote system filesys is the name of the file system on the remote server ifsdir is the name of Integrated File System directory to mount the foreign file system over Press the Enter key. Note: MOUNT also works in place of ADDMFS.
