New RN214 has gone read-only for second time.

My new RN214 has locked up (read-only) for the second time in 2 weeks.  I'm sending it back to Amazon.  I have a replacement coming and I hope it is more reliable. 

Tech support was no help, either.  No answers, just "back up and rebuild."
