Newegg open box has warrenty?
I'm wondering if an open box ReadyNAS (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product) still has a manufacter warranty? When does the warranty start on a ReadyNas product?

Re: Newegg open box has warrenty?
Warranty starts at purchase.
I think in practice it depends on if the original purchaser registered or not. If it was registered, you will likely have trouble getting warranty coverage, since the on-line registration tools won't let you register it again.

Exactly what Stephen said. All depends if it was previously registered.
If NewEgg can give you the serial number, we can check if it has been registered already or not.
