Nice surprise in my ReadyNAS Ultra 6 Plus

So the rumors are true. 😉 Sometimes, you do get a better CPU. \o/

Nice! Enjoy that extra speed. Great if you want to do something like 1080p transcoding or something else that requires lots of CPU horsepower 🙂

Early revisions used the E2160 until stock ran out, then moved to E5300. Ultra 6 Plus uses the same core as the Pro 6.

Re: Nice surprise in my ReadyNAS Ultra 6 Plus

Download the system logs (FrontView>Status>Logs>Download All Logs), open kern.log and look for CPU#0.

mdgm : yeah thx! Though I do use a Mac Mini as server (plex / Sickbeard / etc.) 😛 I need to find more work for the Ultra... 😎

Kinda suspected something like that. Economy of scale and the "normal one" is almost 6 years old now. Happy to have a better one. 😉

Spie : I always install "Nas Monitor" addon, I saw that here. Forgot to check the logs when I was setting up my backups between old and new RDN.
