OS 613 - Use netgear apps or install from scratch
Hi folks
Just got a rn102 and upgraded to 613 out of the box.
There are some apps available (genie is a joke), but things like couch potato, etc are there - easy install. However should u be using these ready compiled apps or break open ssh and build from scratch. Find couch potato a fair bit buggy.
Thoughts?

Re: OS 613 - Use netgear apps or install from scratch
I'd say that it is a good thing some one-click-install apps are there for the general public.
If you feel comfortable working in Linux, then by all means, SSH right in & install what you want.
There's not even any building involved if you are looking for things like Couchpotatoserver or Sickbeard. Just install a few prereqs via apt, clone the git repo's and you're as good as done
