Porting OwnCloud 5.0.10 to ReadNAS OS 6.0.8

I was thinking OwnCloud (OC) 5.0.10 is out for a while
I am wondering why the latest OC release is not included in the ReadyNAS OS 6.0.8 repository update.
Since there are a lot of performance and security improvements included in the OC latest release v 5.0.10.
The web interface updater add-on available for OC admin that comes with OC 5.0.7 will destroy the OC and makes
the OC web interface unavailable. 😞

Now ReadyNAS OS 6.1.2 is out and OwnCloud 5.0.11
I decided to install via apt-get but after running apt-get update the repositories are updated on channel 6.1.1 ReadyNAS directory!?
I am wondering that ReadyNAS did not ease the task of OwnCloud updating via its WebPage, why one should update it via Plug-Ins or apt-get !

Update to 5.11 or 5.10 from GUI will break owncloud . A compatible version is on the road

The latest Version ReadyNAS OS 6.1.4 is out and having an Old Version of OwnCloud
I just use my ReadyNAS as TC and Cloud server (i only want ownCloud on my readyNas to service no other alternatives)
but still the buggy and old version of ownCloud is available as a plug-in.
I do not know why no one is interested to prioritize the update of ownCloud!? ownCloud server (5.0.12 is out) 😞

Same here. I'm having that buggy version 5.07 (as a plug-in) too and eagerly awaiting the update. Any idea, when you can publish the new version?

@ thomas: Where did you get it from? There's no update since 6.1.4 and the owncloud update mechanism still doesn't work.
Removing and installing owncloud again from availbale apps still delivers 5.0.7...
