Re: READY NAS 102
Yes, but it is slow and bad at the file viewing level, since it is via Wi-Fi.
You need the program to work.
To manage the nas from the windows file manager.

Re: READY NAS 102
No, it stays connecting with no results.
If it does not work.
I don't use the file explorer, because it doesn't start the nas from the Readyloud app.
Thank you

Are you saying you use ReadyCloud????
Can you try file explorer? Enter \\hostname in the address bar (substituting the real NAS name for the hostname placeholder). Be careful to use the correct slash - //hostname will launch your browser, which we don't want.

Sorry, I am having trouble if you are saying
- "yes I can ping the IP address"
- "no I can not ping the IP address"
or maybe
- "I don't know how to do that".
It would be helpful to have a description (perhaps a diagram) on how your network is set up, including any subnets you have on different LAN segments.

Thanks. Then you must not be able to open the NAS web ui either.
That you tried restarting the NAS?
To gracefully shut down your system using the Power button:
1. Press the Power button.
The Power LED blinks, prompting you to confirm the shutdown.
2. Press the Power button again.
The system shuts down gracefully
Then power it back on again.

Re: READY NAS 102
YES, I AM USING READYCLOUD TO ACCESS THE WEB INTERFACE, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO ACCESS MY NAS DIRECTLY FROM READYCLOUD.
I am connected to the Wi-Fi of a different house than where the device is installed.

Ok. I don't use ReadyCloud myself, so I can't help much on this.

Re: READY NAS 102
No. but it has changed because it goes through wifi and before it was fiber.
I am in a student residence and it goes through wifi.
I don't know how to solve the problem

It might be an internet speed issue on your end (and not the NAS or ReadyCloud).
Try going to speedtest.net in your browser, and let us know the upload and download speed it measures.

Ok. That is faster than 5 GB/hour.
Are you seeing sluggish speeds when downloading a large file from a website (not the NAS)?
Also, when you say 5 hours for 25 GBs, is this for a single 25 GB file? Or is it for a folder that holds a lot of small files?

Re: READY NAS 102
I don't understand what you mean.
The Problem is that you cannot access the NAS from the readycloud application.

Sorry, there is another thread focused on a performance/speed problem, and I got that tangled up with this one.
But you can reach the NAS using readycloud.netgear.com?
