RN314 - Mixing HDD Manufacturer?

Hi All,

I've just had a HDD fail on my RN314 😞

It had a full set of Seagate Constellation CS 3TB drives in it, but these are no longer available.

What would be a suitable replacement? Do I need to stick to Seagate or does it not matter?

Thanks,

dK

You don't need to stick with Seagate.

Seagate Ironwolf Pro and Western Digital Red Pro are both suitable and on the hardware compatibility list.  Any enterprise drive should work though.

The hardware compatibility list is here: https://kb.netgear.com/20641/ReadyNAS-Hard-Disk-Compatibility-List
