RND4000 WIn 10 Unexpected Network error
Hi All, I just upgraded the latest firmware 6.9.3. After the reboot I noticed that I could not access my shared folders. The hostname is "nas" and the device is 192.168.1.99 *DHCP assigned, stati...
I cant map it either way. I have checked the smd1 stuffs in the windows feature. Still the same.both computers are not showing the shared folders under network i cannot assign a letter to the shared folders under Network(wins 10)
What happens if you run cmd and then enter
net use * /delete
net use T: \\nas-ip-address\c /user:admin nas-admin-password
Use the real Nas IP address and admin password of course. Also be careful on the typing - particularly spaces and the slash direction.
The first command terminates any open network sessions. The second attempts to map the NAS C volume to drive letter T.

What NAS do you actually have? Your first post has the model set to RN102, but the post title says RND4000 (which can't run 6.9.x firmware). For the RN102, you'd need to use data instead of c:
net use * /delete
net use T: \\nas-ip-address\data /user:admin nas-admin-password
If you use flexraid, use the volume name you entered instead of data. Also if you are using the default NAS admin password (password for the RN102, netgear1 for the RND4000) you'll need to change it for this command to work.
If this still fails, can you reliably ping the NAS? Perhaps try ping nas-ip-address -n 1000 and see how many of them complete sucessfully.
